Choose Your Size

One dose, five sizes

Every size uses the same dosing: ¼ oz per drain, and a 2 oz start-up for a 100-gallon grease trap. Counts are shown both ways — single drains, or rounds for a 100-gallon trap and the four drains that feed it.

Super Concentrate Liquid

Microbes, enzymes and DPW, with a citrus-ginger scent. The 64 oz is the lowest cost per treatment in the line — about $0.35 a drain.

The Problem

Grease doesn't stay in the trap.

In a commercial kitchen, fats, oils, grease and food residue coat the drain lines and build up in the grease trap. As it accumulates it restricts flow and becomes a source of odor.

  • Slow kitchen, sink and floor drains
  • Odors around drains and in the kitchen
  • Grease and organic buildup in the trap
  • Constant buildup in busy commercial drains

The Bio-Pure Difference

What is DPW?

Deproteinized Whey (DPW) is a proprietary carrier that delivers nutrients to FOG Pro's microbes, so they establish in the drain system and keep working.

Rapid activation

DPW supplies nutrients that support fast microbial activation once the dose goes down the drain.

Stability

It supports microbial stability, helping the cultures establish in the drain system.

Continuous action

Once introduced, the beneficial microbes stay active in the drain environment between treatments.

How To Use It

A three-step program

A grease trap is maintained through the drains that feed it, so the program starts with the trap and then keeps those drains treated.

Start the grease trap

Cool the trap and add 2 oz for a 100-gallon trap — larger traps take more (500 gal +4 oz, 2,500 gal +6 oz, 5,000 gal +9 oz). Treat overnight with the lid closed.

Treat the drains weekly for a month

At the end of the day, mix ¼ oz with 4 oz of warm water and pour it down each drain — disposal, dishwasher, sink and floor drains.

Then treat them monthly

The same ¼ oz dose, once a month, maintains the drains and the trap they feed.

If a particular drain stays sluggish, extend treatment a few more weeks. Shake the liquid well before use.

Common Questions

Before you buy

What do "single drains" and "trap + 4 drains" mean?

Two ways of counting the same container. Single drains counts ¼ oz doses for individual drains. Trap + 4 drains counts rounds of the full program for a 100-gallon grease trap: a 2 oz start-up, then 1 oz per round across its four drains. A 14 oz powder, for example, is a start-up plus 12 rounds — 13 in all.

Liquid or powder?

Both use the same dosing and both include DPW. The liquid also lists enzymes, has a citrus-ginger scent, and is the lower cost per treatment.

Our grease trap is bigger than 100 gallons.

Use a larger start-up dose. The directions give 500 gal +4 oz, 2,500 gal +6 oz and 5,000 gal +9 oz.

Is it safe for our plumbing?

Yes. The label says it's safe for all pipes, grease traps and septic, and the directions list it as safe for animals, humans, plants and pipes, environmentally safe, all natural and biodegradable.

Where is it used?

Restaurants, commercial kitchens, hotels and food-service facilities.
